As we welcome 2017 with wide-open arms, here’s a question for you? Have you made your goals and your to do lists for the New Year?
There’s a lot going on and keeping track is always challenging. It’s always important to be on top of your game – regardless of whatever you do, there are certain things or priorities that cannot take a back step. So, in order for you to complete that list or cross that one thing from your bucket list, it’s important to write them down.
“It’s always important to be on top of your game – regardless of whatever you do.”
I recently installed this white board in my office cabin. It’s not very big. But it’s a good idea to record my day’s lists which is clients orders, my pitches, my to do lists and then look back on them at the start as well as end of the day to make sure that I am doing it and I am doing it in the right direction as planned.
Of course, there are other ideas or ways to look at when it comes to planning or making your checklist. You can download planners and print them and use them. You can also have a notepad printed, something like what I use (picture shown below).
My Personalised Notepad
This is what I do. What ideas do you have for planning your to do lists? Is there something you are practicing – perhaps an app, writing it a different or anything that reminds you of your things planned for the day and the year ahead? Are there any ideas that you need a different perspective to? Would you like your idea to be featured in my next post?
I’d love to hear from you. So, please do post your comments at the end of this post.
Do you agree that you are an average of the five people you spend most of your time with ? You must have heard or read this somewhere but let me tell you, it holds so true. Today I would like to talk about Mona Tavassoli who is a very well established entrepreneur, mother of two kids and has multiple businesses. I have been attending many of her events in the past but what I witnessed today blew me away. After having enhanced her knowledge in training and learning from her mentors, she is now giving back to the society by sharing nuggets of wisdom in her event called "You Can Have It All". Here she shares her knowledge and experience in how she balances between all her roles. So, if you are looking at becoming more productive, make the best use of your time and planning in terms of goals, then do attend one of her workshops.
